1. Petzi While we are away, we miss our pets! This pet webcam allows you to watch live videos, talk to your pet and even dispense treats for your pet all through an app on your smartphone. It even has a night vision mode.
The population of overweight and obese pets continues to expand in Canada and around the world. As with people, excess weight is associated with several potentially serious and even life-threatening health conditions. In this post, we explore the various causes and consequences of pets being overweight or obese, and what we can do for them.
How often does your cat go to the vet? For healthy cats, this visit may only occur once per year. As most cat owners are aware, this is a very stressful event in a cat’s life, though it’s never too late to make improvements.
Circling around before lying down is likely a residual instinct from when their ancestors lived out in the wilderness. Your dog’s ancestors would have paced in circles to flatten down and warm their sleeping area.
In order to maintain everyone's safety and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following procedures have been implemented:
a) Only 1 family member may accompany the pet in the appointment.
b) You must wear a mask while in the hospital. If you do not have one we can provide you one for a $2 donation to our OSCAR fund.
c) You will be asked to sanitize your hands upon entry.
d) You must maintain a 6-foot distance from team members.
e) We will continue with cashless payment options (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX & Debit).
f) Upon arrival, please call us (204-253-2668) from your vehicle, and we will provide direction as our waiting room still remains closed, and our doors locked. If you do not have a cell phone you may ring the doorbell and wait by the "Please Wait Here" sign.
g) A specific amount of time has been allotted for your appointment so if your pet needs additional services (nail trim, anal glands etc.) please let us know in advance.
If you prefer not to be present for your pet's appointment and would prefer us to conduct the appointment via telephone please let us know.
In addition to the above-mentioned protocols we are screening all clients for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 to protect our clients and team members.
If you have a fever, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, nasal congestion, loss of sense of smell, sore throat, painful swallowing, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, loss of appetite, chills, or fever we ask that you do not attend your pet's appointment.
If you have been instructed to self isolate for 14 days due to travel from Eastern Canada, travelled outside of Canada, had contact with someone known to have COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or are waiting for COVID-19 test results we ask that you do not attend your pet's appointment.

Monday & Tuesday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 am - 8:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
