Since temporarily closing St.Vital Veterinary Hospital, we have been working to identify a path forward that would allow us to reopen and continue serving our community. Despite those efforts, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close the practice. We know this news may be disappointing, and we are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in us over the years.
We remain committed to serving this community and want to ensure that your pets receive uninterrupted care. We've partnered with Southglen Veterinary Hospital to coordinate client file transfers, as they are our nearest sister clinic, just 4km away. Client files will be automatically transferred to Southglen Veterinary Hospital on August 19, 2026. The Southglen team is ready to warmly welcome our St.Vital clients. We look forward to seeing you and providing the same friendly service and care you know and trust.
Our wonderful veterinarians Dr. Dawn Williams and Dr. Bijan Ziaie are following opportunities farther away from our immediate vicinity. If you'd like to continue care with Dr. Williams, her new home will be Clearspring Animal Hospital, and Dr. Ziaie's new home will be Corydon Animal Hospital starting September 1, 2026. These practices will be able to assist with file transfer before your first booked appointment.
For clients that place orders through MyVetStore, your account will automatically be transferred to Southglen Veterinary Hospital on August 19, 2026. If you’d like our account transferred to a different sister practice, please email help@myvetstore.ca by August 17, 2026.
